Correct, dispute, or remove your listing
Redland Bay QLD Childcare Guide is an independent directory of childcare centres in the Redland Bay area. Listings are built from publicly available business information. Scores and review summaries come from public Google reviews, run through a single fixed rubric that applies to every centre without exception. Being listed is free, and payment never changes a score or ranking. This page explains how to request changes to your listing. The complete rubric is public: how we rank.
Fixing factual details
If your centre's name, address, phone number, website, opening hours, or services are wrong, you can request a correction. To fix a factual field, provide the correct value and something we can check it against, such as your website or your Google Business Profile. Once applied, corrections stay in place through future data refreshes.
Challenging your score
Scores are never hand-edited. A dispute means you believe the input data is wrong, such as your centre being matched to the wrong business profile, reviews attributed to you incorrectly, or a summary misrepresenting what reviewers actually wrote. We re-check the sources and regenerate your listing. A dispute is not a request for a higher number; it is a claim that the data driving the score is incorrect.
Requesting removal
Listings are removed if your centre is permanently closed, a duplicate entry exists, or the listing falls outside the scope of this directory. Our monthly re-verification cycle also catches and removes closed businesses automatically. An accurate, in-scope listing may be declined for removal, and you will receive a clear explanation of why.
Where to send requests
Send an email to hello@scoutlocalmedia.com.au and include three things: your business name, the URL of your listing, and exactly what should change. Redland Bay QLD Childcare Guide is published by Scout Local Media.
How quickly we respond
Every request gets an acknowledgement within 5 business days. Confirmed removals are carried out within 7 days. Declined requests come with the reason.
